Dr. Glenda De La Paz

Dr. Glenda De La Paz, DMD was born in Cuba where she studied dentistry for 3 years. She moved to the US with her mother and sister in 2014 looking for freedom. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Biological and Physical Sciences from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She then attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry where she obtained her Doctor in Dental Medicine degree. Dr. De La Paz and Dr. Lopez are happily married and have a 3 year-old daughter named Susan. In her free time, she plays the piano, sings, dances salsa and spends quality time with her family. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. She has a passion for helping others and loves to spend quality time knowing her patients and providing the best care possible. She is constantly taking continuing education courses to be able to provide quality dental care for her patients.

First job I ever had: Waitress at Chinese restaurant.

Why did you decide on a Dental Field? I love helping people and I enjoy combining art with science to give people the beautiful smile they deserve.

Hobbies and Interests: Salsa dancing, playing piano, singing, CrossFit.

What is something people don’t know about you? I studied music from the ages of 8 to 17 years old.

What is your favorite food? Chicken fettuccine alfredo.
